What's New?
Over the past year there have been extensive developments to the Adastra system. Briefly outlined below are the main highlights; more information can be obtained by contacting the Sales Team at sales@adastra.com
Managing Pandemic A/H1N1 "Swine" Flu
This product delivers a full patient journey solution, by enabling call handlers to identify a patient’s condition using the Health Protection Agency’s algorithm. By using this decision support the patient can then be streamed to receive the most appropriate treatment.
Flu Inoculation Management
Following guidance from the Department of Health England, inoculation centres will have to contact all patients within their area to arrange appointments for their two vaccines. This product provides vital processes for managing detecting and reporting of the patient events.
iNurse
iNurse is the only mobile patient-management system that is designed for use by both clinical and/or domiciliary care teams. From a simple “clock-in, clock-out” system that removes the pain of manual timesheets, iNurse functions also extend to sophisticated clinical facilities such as:
- Risk assessment
- Incident reporting
- Decision support
- Accredited mobile prescribing
End of Life Care Register (EOLCR)
The End of Life Care Register enables service providers across care boundaries to share information about patients nearing the end of their life, helping to improve care delivery and coordination.
Personal Demographics Service (PDS)
Working closely with NHS Connecting for Health, Adastra has developed links with the national Spine database in England to provide a lookup of demographic information including NHS number. Users must be authenticated to use this service.
Summary Care Record (SCR)
Authorised access to the patient's Summary Care Record provides for the following clinical benefits:
- Reduced clinical risk through availability of current and discontinued medication information
- Appropriate treatment with the knowledge of the patients allergies (if any)
- Appropriate treatment with the knowledge of any previous adverse reactions
Face to Face Prioritisation
An effective question set for the clinical centre receptionist, providing a robust methodology for the identification of immediate life-threatening conditions. The methodology also provides safe and effective patient streaming by prioritisation.
