In Development

Derived from our product roadmap the following items are either currently in development or in internal testing:

Mobile Care

TomTom Satellite Navigation Integration

Used in conjunction with Aremote mobile care system, this product automates the sending of patient visit details from the main system to the TomTom device. Journey status is returned automatically from the TomTom to the main system.

Buddy Mode

This product enables the clinician to have full patient and clinical details for each visit whilst providing only demographic and destination information for journey planning to the driver. This clinician buddy system helps to maximise operational efficiency whilst minimising the risk of breaching confidential patient information.

Major enhancements to Medicine Management

Significant enhancements to Medicine Management including prescribing, stock control and drug & appliance issuing, are being specified by the clinical team. A major enhancement of the drug database will enable more sophisticated drug stock management and the development of Electronic Prescribing Level II.

GP Patient Record Access

Working with EMIS, InPS, and iSoft, a solution has been developed to allow clinical users of Adastra to view the patient record held by the GP. Within the unplanned and unscheduled care environment this information may provide vital medical history.

NHS Pathways (Clinical Decision Support)

Utilising the NHS Pathways algorithms, this embedded functionality provides structured clinical assessment methodologies. These enable non-clinicians and nurses to direct patients to the most appropriate care pathway.

Wales Individual Health Record (IHR)

Working closely with Informing Healthcare, Adastra and GP practice systems are developing an integrated patient record solution. Access to the patient's IHR provides authorised clinicians with a complete view of patient encounters and medical history.

MS Reporting Services

The introduction of Microsoft Reporting Services will provide the opportunity for users to interrogate their Adastra system using an interactive web-based tool set. The extensive data contained within the Adastra system can be represented as a multi-dimensional analytical data model. Utilising the power of SQL with the richness of data in the Adastra system, unlimited operational reports and outputs may be generated.

Clinician Audit Toolkit

The Royal College of General Practitioners has recommended the use of a toolkit to support service providers in delivering effective clinical audits. The Adastra Clinical Audit Toolkit is an easily implemented and operated system which provides clinical audit information in a format suitable for submission in line with the National Quality Requirements.
