Extraordinarily scaleable the system can support from one to many users. Utilising a tiered architecture to both improve performance and protect investment, separate application layers deal with database input/output, logic and error checking and presentation, making future development for new interfaces quicker, cheaper and simpler.

Version 3 makes extensive use of modern technologies such as web services and XML. As it is now a native Windows application it has a logical look and feel which lends itself to the irregular working patterns of some out of hours clinical staff, who may use the application only occasionally.

Domain Expertise

Drawing on over ten years' domain experience achieved with our first and second generation products, Adastra v3 has been developed entirely in-house in Microsoft C# using the .NET framework. It is therefore compatible with the latest 64-bit operating systems. Adastra v3 uses Microsoft SQL Server as its data store.
