Our Directors

The Adastra Directors provides the Company’s strategic direction within an intensely active and fast-moving marketplace. Our Board has evolved in step with evolution of the Company from its modest beginnings as a two-man enterprise in 1994 to its current scale employing over 130 people.

Vin Murria

Chief Executive Officer
Vin's career has combined Venture Capital, Private Equity and CEO/ Operational expertise, centered around twenty years of M&A activity in the software sector. Vin is a partner at Elderstreet Capital Partners and Chief Executive Officer of Advanced Computer Software Plc. Prior to this, Vin was European Chief Operating Officer for Kewill Systems Plc and Chairman of Leeds Group Plc. She remains an investor and advisor to a number of quoted and unquoted companies, including Mediasurface Plc, and Concateno Plc.

   

James Berry

Chief Technical Officer

Co-founding Director of Adastra - James achieved a first-class Honours Degree in Computer Sciences at the University of Southampton in 1995, finishing top of his year and winning the British Computer Society Prize for Outstanding Achievement. Now responsible for the architecture and design of the Adastra application, James adopts a hands-on approach to development and leads a development team of seven.

   

Jim Chase

Managing Director

An experienced Director of IT businesses, Jim began his career in IT as a software developer and has since enjoyed a wide variety of technical, service delivery, commercial and leadership roles for AIM Group and CS Group’s Legal Division. Jim’s wealth of experience is being deployed to promote the development of Adastra as it enters a new and exciting phase within the Advanced Computer Software Plc Group.

   

David Fagg 

Director of Services

Dave joined Adastra in 1997 as an Engineer before taking up the management of a rapidly growing Technical Services Team. After a period of developing the Engineering Team to its current structure of nationally deployed 24x7 teams, Dave then helped to spread ITIL best practices throughout Adastra’s Service Support teams. From April 2009, Dave assumed responsibility for Adastra’s service teams, encompassing the Service Desk, Technical Services, Project Management and Consultancy.

   

Anthony Hayes

Chief Operations Officer

Anthony was previously Network Manager at US Gold and holds various Microsoft, Citrix and Cisco technical certifications. He is responsible for operations within the company including both delivery and support. He provides central leadership for Project Management, Technical Services, Service Desk and Consultancy. A core part of his role is to focus on developing close relationships between departments he leads and other areas of Adastra such as Development.

   

David Pepe

Product Director

Following senior positions within multinational organisations, encompassing consultancy, management development and operations, David was recently appointed Product Director with Adastra. This role enables him to bring his experience of operational improvement and product management to enhance Adastra’s strategic product delivery.

   

Danielle Scott

Finance Director

ACCA qualified, Danielle began her career in legal accounts. She has several years experience in the electrical manufacturing industry and has also gained widespread experience of operations and finance within the cross-channel ferry industry. Danielle is responsible for Finance and Administration, while providing the strategic financial information needed to meet exciting new challenges as part of the Advanced Computer Software Plc Group.

   

Nick Spratt

Sales Director

Nick's career began as a Medical Research Scientist with a number of projects published in learned journals. Nick then joined Oxford Laboratories as Scientific Lead and after a period was appointed Sales Director with responsibility for sales in the UK, Ireland and the Nordic countries. He entered the IT industry in 1996 as Care Sales Director for CS Group and IRIS and joined Adastra in May 2009. He brings to Adastra's growing team his experience of large, complex IT projects with a particular focus upon medical, care and not-for-profit organisations.

   

Dr Alex Yeates MB BS DRCOG

Medical Director

In 1989 he was a co-founder of the pioneering Medway GP Co-operative (MEDDOC), the first of the Kent-based services which were to go on to establish a template for corresponding services to develop across the rest of the UK. Alex remains an active participant in the Medway service and chairs its Clinical Review Group. He has also participated in the Department of Health’s Committee for Safety of Medicines developing policy on extended nurse prescribing and in the Out-of-Hours Review Team examining OOH Medicines Supply.
