Service Desk Technician

Due to the recent expansion of our range of supported products and services, Adastra Software Ltd is seeking a number of highly motivated individuals with excellent technical, communication, and customer service skills to join our technical Service Desk to offer IT support. The successful candidate for this role will have excellent customer service skills for what is primarily a telephone and remote support based role.

From a technical perspective we are ideally looking for someone with experience in supporting Microsoft client-server networks, Citrix and Microsoft SQL. In-house training in all the Adastra supported products and platforms will be provided for those candidates who may not have the relevant experience but are able to demonstrate the right aptitude.

The Adastra Service Desk provides 24/7/365 healthcare IT support for our customer base and as such you will join our ‘out-of-hours’ rota after an initial induction period. This will include working some evenings, weekends and overnight. A generous on-call premium is allocated for the weekend and overnight shifts as well as time off in lieu.

The successful candidates for these positions will be enthusiastic individuals, with the aspiration and ability to expand and apply their existing skills in step with Adastra, an innovative market leader in Healthcare IT.

Starting Salary: starting salary from £15k plus a generous shift allowance

Other Benefits: 5% pension contribution and 25 days annual leave
